Jose and Deana made our dream of having a beautiful koi pond at our new home come true. From design, build, to finish, we cannot say enough positive words. The pond is a work of art and is the talk of the neighborhood. We are referred to as the house with that "beautiful pond." In addition, Jose went above and beyond to help us transport our koi from outside of Washington DC, take care of them, and successfully introduce the koi to their new home. His level of care and compassion for our fish exceeded any expectations that we could have had. If we have another opportunity to work with JDO, we will not hesitate to do so.
I third recommending Jose! He did an outstanding job on a very complicated project on our 50-year-old terrace (repacking the base, saving the old blue stone and mixing new in an undetectable way). We first met him when he was the third contractor to take a look at our new and malfunctioning pool fountains. He was so familiar with products in the industry that he knew what was wrong right away and helped us negotiate replacements from the manufacturers.
I highly recommend Jose, owner of JDO Pools and Spas. He is a top notch, commercially licensed and insured Class A contractor with over 20 years experience. His niche is high-end residential pools. Jose also does decks, patios, pergolas, porches, privacy fencing and outdoor living environments. I like the ‘one stop shop’ feature. JDO also offers maintenance and repairs for swimming pools, which is super convenient.

Sevarg has been our pool service provider for many years. The transition to new management was smooth. If anything, the quality of work continues to improve, and we have had the best pool season in many years. One of the key points is that there needs to be an ongoing dialog between the service technicians and pool owner/manager. A once-a-week service visit cannot replace the need for periodic owner maintenance. We also bought a robotic pool cleaner this year to improve our part of the maintenance equation. Results of the dialog with Sevarg and robot have been impressive: we have a 40+ year old gunite pool with crumbling mortar along the coping that was always fighting clarity and algae. No more! In fact, I have received nothing but positive comments from everyone this year. A great relationship!

ITS WAY CHEAPER TO go to them get the right pool needs YES CHEAPER who knew!! Suzanne is very knowledgeable and was most helpful testing my water for me and telling me what to do. I’m a senior citizen and know nothing about pools. This is my first one. Suzanne and Sevarg pools made it possible for me to have a wonderful relaxing and stress free 3 days with my high school friends. I am so thankful.
