Our Precautions Related to COVID-19

As news continues to spread and concerns about the Coronavirus/COVID-19 increase, we at JDO Pools & Spas want you to know we are taking precautions as recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to ensure the health and safety of our customers, employees, and the community.

Some of the ways JDO is taking for the well-being of our employees and our customers during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic:

We are monitoring CDC, state, and local health officials’ guidelines and updates daily.

 Extra precautions regarding potential exposure:

  • If any of our employees exhibit any symptoms, rest assured we will follow all CDC guidelines to avoid exposing anyone in or outside of our office and encourage COVID testing
  • Employees will not be expected to work if feeling “off,” ill, or sick; regardless of severity or symptoms

 General hygiene proactively encouraged:

  • Our trucks and employees are equipped with hand sanitizers and N95 masks
  • Washing hands constantly and doing a thorough job each time, before, during, and after every site visit
  • Using hand sanitizer when hand washing is not accessible
  • Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth and washing hands immediately if so
  • Covering mouths when coughing or sneezing, even if it’s just to clear throat
  • Utilizing PPE equipment such as gloves, masks, and eye-protection as necessary

 Limiting passing of paperwork and implementing a touch-less experience for the customer, including emailing invoices

 Limiting office activities. Restricting building access to office staff only, limiting in-person meetings, enforcing social distancing, and sanitizing the office daily

 Continuing to clean and disinfect our work areas, mobile devices, pens, instruments, tools, and vehicles, and at end of shifts

 Our highest priority is the health of you, your family and our team members.  Please stay safe and healthy.  We are asking you to please reschedule your appointment if anyone in your household is exhibiting symptoms or has had recent contact with anyone else who is ill.
